Pro Bono

Constitution of India strongly advocates for Justice and Equality for all. In addition to the various provisions of constitution, multiple legislations were brought into operation to ensure that every citizen has the required means and resources to avail legal services.

Article 39A of the Constitution provides for free legal aid to the poor and weaker sections of the society. In 1987, the Legal Services Authorities Act was enacted by the Parliament to establish a nationwide uniform network for providing free and competent legal services to those who cannot afford it. Further, Article 14 and 22(1) also make it obligatory for the state to ensure equality before law and a legal system which promotes justice on a basis of equal opportunity to all.

Precinct Legal firmly believes that access to justice should never be denied. The firm through its association with various NGO’s and Human Right Organizations has been actively taking up Pro Bono cases to aid and assist the government in ensuring that every person gets an opportunity to present his case.
